Truly yours sang Herman’s Hermits’ “Mrs. Brown You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter” at the Lydale VFW last night. Mark was in attendance but postponed singing.
I bowled a 213 point game last night. Josh bowled ANOTHER 200+ game.
Challengers,
Perhaps without his knowledge, Nick has completed the Publish challenged. An original work of his was published in the St. Paul Pioneer Press on Sunday, September 9th– you can see his seed art in a photo in the article Minnesota State Fair / A Cinderella story (in seeds).
I have a paper copy in my possession.
Per the rules pertaining to the Publish challenge:
Nick is now tied for first place with yours truly.
Truly yours,
Comm. C.

In the foreground on the top shelf are my blue ribbon-winning Gluten-Free Mocha Lava Cakes.
My good friends Lee and Amy went to the State Fair last night– they have confirmed that both my cakes and Nick’s crop art are on display! The Leader Board has been updated accordingly.
Carys and I will be going tomorrow– I’ll get photos and post them this weekend.
Holler.
Comm. C.
P.S. I’ve got some new words of wisdom over at Commissioner’s Corner.
The results are in! Nick and yours truly each took first place in our respective categories at the Minnesota State Fair! You can see the results of the competition at the following links:
Pete’s Baking Results (see Lot 1078)
Nick’s Crop Art Results (see Lot 17)
Checkmarks will be assigned pending verification that each item has been displayed (per Challenges rules). In any case, this is a huge achievement for Nick and myself.
Truly yours,
Comm. C.
