Hey folks– I’m back. If you’re reading this you must be a very committed peterchurch.com reader. Actually, you should probably BE committed, but it’s all good. With any luck, things will start trickling in here again soon. For now, I’ll just write I’ve got a new job, a new routine, I’m engaged, and life is great. I’ll write again soon.

    It has been a busy week but I do intend to get a new post up soon– thanks for checking in on mine, too.

    Carys and I have a list for you– do you want me to email it to you? Or I can call.

    Dad–

    This is what Carys and I came up with:

    Parmesan cheese grater (looks sort of like a file–not the boxy stand-up kind)
    Chef knife
    Plant encyclopedia
    Placemats (maroon) – 4
    Terracotta pots for plants (med sized) – one or two
    Digital camera (cheap one)

    That’s what we came up with.

    I am excited about both your engagement and your desire for a plant encyclopedia. These are things that I love talking about via phone conversations but I also like personal blogs.

    pps-leamington spa pete, you should try and get in on that plant encyclopedia action. I’m sure real pete’s dad would get you one. he’s very generous.
    ppss-leamington pete? Are you engaged to a girl named carys too? cuz then I’m thinking we should stop seeing this as a same name pair o’ petes, and more so as a time traveling pair o’ petes. It’s probably a safe assumption to make regardless of your girl’s name.
